Scalp Micropigmentation - SKIIN®

Scalp Micropigmentation

The number one solution for hair loss. Scalp micro pigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical procedure that replicates the appearance of hair follicles, by using tiny pigment deposits into the scalp with an ultra Fine needle. It is undetectable to the untrained eye making it a discreet and natural treatment. Unlike hair transplants, concealers, lotions and medication, scalp micro pigmentation is an affordable and semi permeant solution. It can be used to give thinning hair a thicker appearance and also for clients with no hair at all giving the illusion of a fully shaved head. This is treatment is designed to suit both men and women of all ages. Whether you have moderate to advance balding patterns or maybe  just thinning hair SMP will be able to help you feel confident in your hair, by giving you the most natural looking result.

SMP FAQ's & Advice

No the treatment does not hurt, with clients explaining the treatment as ‘comfortable’ and not being able to feel anything at all.

This is dependent of the level of thinning and badness, I always recommending a consultation in the clinic or over the phone to give an accurate treatment time.

Although the Pigment stays in the skin for a couple of years, it does fade meaning a top up treatment may be needed after 12- 18 months to keep your scalp micro pigmentation looking crisp. I always advise using a SPF 30 everyday on the scalp to maintain your results.

The scalp may appear slightly red immediately after treatment, this subsides after couple of hours. Otherwise you can return to your daily actives without the treatment being noticed.

  • For Males with short hair please shave your head the day prior to your appointment, making sure it is clean and free from product on the scalp.
  • For women and males with longer hair make sure it is clean and free from product.
